We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Woodworking Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and repairing wooden pallets using hand tools and power tools.
The role involves manual handling of up to 10kgs, general housekeeping, and basic use of computer navigation systems. Adhering to safety, health & environment policies and procedures is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repairing wooden pallets using automated repair tables
- Assessing and repairing timber pallets with hand tools and power tools
- Manual handling of materials weighing up to 10kgs
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Basic computer skills for navigation and data entry
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent attendance and employment record, pass drug & alcohol screening and full medical assessment. A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are also required.
You will work on a rotating roster, including day, afternoon, and night shifts. Overtime opportunities will become available once trained.
