At EBR, we are seeking a highly skilled Program Architect to join our Sydney-based team. This exciting opportunity will provide you with challenging yet rewarding work.

This role will see you drive a key sector critical to the success of the business and help drive revenue for the next phase of the company's growth.

Job Description

We require a Program Architect with a minimum of three years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including online order management systems experience within the following industries:

  • Cellular
  • Landline
  • Cable
  • Internet
  • Incumbent local exchange carrier (ILEC)
  • Competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC)
  • Interexchange carrier (IXC)

The successful candidate will have 6+ years of experience working in development teams using Agile development techniques, through full project lifecycles. Additionally, they will have 6+ years of experience building Java applications and be familiar with the Spring framework, JDBC, Maven, and other Java-related technologies.

Experience building applications using Relational Databases like PostgreSQL and Oracle is also essential. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience developing cloud-based applications on top of the Salesforce platform.

A proven track record of successful delivery of customer projects with an emphasis on back-office systems in the telecommunications area is required. Understanding and direct experience working with an end-to-end solution across the telecommunications BSS & OSS stack, from the creation of offers to quoting to order capture and order fulfillment is also necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • An excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles and patterns
  • Java-related technologies
  • Experience working with RabbitMQ, Apache Camel, Docker/Kubernetes
  • In-depth knowledge of key processes in industry-specific BSS/OSS solutions (e.g., Quote to Order, MACD, Policy Management, Order Management, and Provisioning)
  • A working technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform and applications

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar engineering discipline is also required. Desired certifications include Vlocity Developer and Salesforce Developer.

Salary and Benefits
