About Pain Management Specialist Role

This is a wonderful opportunity to provide assessments and treatment for patients with a range of presenting issues.

The role reports directly to the Operations Manager and is a part-time, remote position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional medical advice via video telehealth using appropriate technology
  • Deliver medical care through various therapies pertaining to the clinician's speciality
  • Post consultation, provide referring general practitioner with relevant consult documentation including summary letter
  • Maintain consistent and appropriate communication to the operations team regarding ongoing availability for telehealth consults
  • Request patient test results from health professionals as needed for thorough consultations
  • Stay informed on industry updates and changes; apply knowledge appropriately during consultations

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant medical qualifications as per practicing speciality
  • Ability to effectively utilise video telehealth technology for thorough medical assessments
  • Efficient communication skills for interaction with operational support team and patients
  • Experience in using scheduling platforms to ensure updated availability for providing telehealth services
