Fashion Product Specialist

Located in our Cremorne Head Office, this exciting Buying Assistant role offers a fantastic opportunity to support the product development cycle and be an integral part of our dynamic team. As a key member of the business, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, displaying initiative and strong relationship-building skills to drive financial results and achieve overall business objectives.

Job DescriptionThis 6 Month Parental Leave Contract position involves working closely with the Buyer to improve financial results and achieve overall business objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Create CADs for trend collections
- Administration associated order raising and order management and range sheets
- Management and preparation of weekly sales reports, products, merchandise rack, product analysis etc
- Effective management of all samples
- Liaising with Planning team on any order changes and delivery updates
- Communicate creative input and innovation for product development
- Attend fit sessions to review garment on body and prepare fit samples
- Daily communication with vendor base
- Maintain effective communication with all other departments
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant education; Design/Buying/Merchandise Diploma or Business/Commercial degree
- Previous experience as a Buying Assistant in a fashion retail environment preferred
- A love for product, and a passion to grow in this field
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in creating CADS and using Illustrator, Indesign & Photoshop
- Sound knowledge and proficiency in MS Suite
- Experience in managing administration tasks
- A proactive, collaborative, and adaptable nature
