Cloud Infrastructure Procurement Specialist

Job Description:
The Cloud Infrastructure Procurement Category Manager will oversee the procurement and vendor management of ICT services. This role requires expertise in managing cloud hyperscale providers such as Microsoft, AWS or Google. Understanding contract terms and conditions, particularly performance metrics like Service Levels and KPIs, is essential.
Responsibilities include managing external vendor relations, including service level agreements (SLAs), governance within Cloud Infrastructure. The role also involves implementing and managing a vendor governance framework and supplier review processes.
Key deliverables include developing and implementing category plans, sourcing strategies, and negotiation strategies to secure competitive contracts that reduce risk and optimize supply through SLAs.
This role serves as a functional bridge between external vendors and internal stakeholders, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additionally, the successful candidate will interpret contractual terms and resolve vendor disputes that have been escalated or are of a systematic or strategic nature. They will work closely with internal domains to resolve supplier performance and governance issues.
