About the Role

We are seeking experienced SMP senior project engineers to join our Rail Operations hub in Western Australia. This role will operate on a DIDO basis, providing project engineering support to construction teams and contributing to the achievement of Laing O'Rourke's safety targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project engineering support to construction teams to facilitate the construction process.
  • Monitor and report work progress, and direct interface with construction crews/subcontractors to collect data.
  • Support site construction crews with developing and communicating work packages.
  • Assist with technical queries and provide direction and supervision for Site and Project Engineers, as required.

About You

  • You will hold a tertiary degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience working for Tier 1 construction contracting companies in Australia on SMP projects is essential.
  • A strong commercial acumen, problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills are required.
