About the Role
Business Analyst Insurance Consultant: A Key Position in Guidewire Solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Business Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering insurance solutions using Guidewire technology. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with ANZ-based insurance clients on the Guidewire suite of products, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to enhance Guidewire Claim Center capabilities aligned with strategic goals.
- Design, implement, and optimize systems and solutions to drive growth, optimization, and protection for client organizations.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders to understand needs and suggest tailored solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements and create artifacts for technical design, testing, and training.
- Lead project activities including scoping, estimation, tracking, and support.
- Mentor new analysts on insurance workflows and functionalities.
- Assist in project planning and management.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise across the General Insurance value chain, including Quotation, Policy Issuance, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, and Reinsurance.
- Proven track record in delivering insurance solutions and products.
- Experience working with Guidewire technology as a business analyst across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimsCenter.
- Familiarity with multiple insurance products/systems, including Agent Portals, Rating Engine, Rule Engine, and relevant platforms.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in the insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of key business parameters.
- Proven managerial maturity and strong business acumen.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
Optional Qualifications & Certifications
- Master's in Business Administration or similar.
- IT and insurance tertiary qualifications preferred.
- Insurance industry certifications advantageous.
