Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team in Gateshead, NSW.

  • This is a full-time position with competitive hourly rates and good overtime opportunities.
  • The successful candidate will work on a fleet of heavy waste vehicles, performing general mechanical works, welding, and major/minor repairs.
Responsibilities:
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks
  • Perform breakdown repairs and diagnostics
  • Work on hydraulic, automotive electric, and welding systems
Requirements:
  • Trade certification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
  • Rigid truck driver's license
  • Familiarity with Quality Assurance and Occupational Health & Safety
  • Good communication and organizational skills
