Job Opportunity

The role of Senior Supervisor is an outstanding opportunity to oversee service repair work and assist Team Leaders in achieving maximum efficiency and productivity.

Duties
  • Lead a crew of up to 20 workers, providing guidance and leadership skills.
  • Support Team leaders and/or Supervisors.
  • Complete planned, unplanned, and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are adhered to by championing a safety culture to team and subcontractors.
  • Inspect equipment and raise job requests on any defective parts/components found.
  • Represent the organization in a professional manner.
  • Supervise lifting and handling activities within the workshop.
Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate III in Mechanical, Machinist or Fabrication (Trade Certificate).
  • Experience in a senior supervisory position.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of heavy equipment related to the crushing and screening industry.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to train others and provide required training and qualification of customer service personnel.
  • Must have a solid understanding of the mining processing industry, job site safety requirements, planning and scheduling and sequence of work, and relevant technology.
  • Must be able to read plans and specifications.
  • Trade qualified in either fabrication, machining, mechanical fitting or related field, preferred.
