Clinical Support Nurse Role

The Clinical Support Nurse is an essential member of the healthcare team. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to provide clinical support and education to staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide bedside support, including problem identification and solution, analysis and interpretation of data, and promoting evidence-based practice.
  • Maintain and improve clinical standards while being a positive role model across the organisation.
  • Identify immediate and ongoing learning and development needs of staff and students in consultation with NUMs, Clinical Nurse Educators and other members of the team.
  • Assist and encourage staff to achieve their mandatory training requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current AHPRA registration as registered nurse/midwife.
  • Minimum 5 years recent practice in chosen area of nursing.
  • Interest in Clinical Education and training.
  • Demonstrated positive role model in area of practice.

This is a fixed-term part-time position (32 hours per fortnight) offering a challenging and rewarding experience for a motivated and suitably experienced Registered Nurse.
