About the Role

The Australian College of Applied Professions (ACAP) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Coordinator to manage placements across several disciplines and campuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate WIL Placements: Organize, confirm, monitor, and finalize student placement experiences to ensure a seamless and successful outcome.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to students and host organizations throughout the WIL process, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
  • Identify WIL Opportunities: Proactively develop relationships with existing industry partners to identify and secure new WIL opportunities for students.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders: Collaborate with academics, students, industry partners, and team members to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Deliver Student Orientation and WIL Placement Information Sessions: Provide comprehensive and engaging sessions to students and host organizations to ensure a clear understanding of the WIL process.
  • Coordinate Administrative and Compliance Activities: Manage all administrative and compliance activities related to WIL, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Solid experience in a relevant or similar role, such as Placement Coordinator, Placement Consultant, Client Relations, Employment Consultant, Recruitment Consultant, or Sales Coordinator.
  • Results-Driven Professional: A results-driven professional with a strong client-focused orientation, proactive and driven to work towards measured goals and clear outcomes for clients, students, or customers.
  • Excellent Communication and Relationship-Building Skills: Experience in developing and maintaining positive client relationships with a consultative and professional approach to relationship building.
  • Administrative and Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate excellence in administrative and customer service skills, with strong communication, time management, and attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in the Education Sector: Experience in the education sector, particularly in WIL placement management.
  • Understanding of the WIL Placement Process: An understanding of the WIL placement process and its complexities.
