Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Craft Supervisor - Cranes and Rigging to lead a team and supervise superintendents and/or craft professionals on a project. The successful candidate will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and/or direct craft activities as assigned.
  • Schedule work to be performed and review work accomplished by each craft.
  • Determine workforce requirements and coordinate established area operational plans.
  • Monitor tool and equipment usage on the site and oversee the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables.
  • Ensure assigned construction operations and subcontractors' performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
Requirements
  • Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
  • Bechtel Certified Rigging Engineer (CRE) certification is preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Sound knowledge and experience in RT, all terrain and crawler cranes.
  • Advanced technical knowledge and experience in engineering in the use of lifting equipment, alternative heavy lifting systems, mobile gantries, jacking, tailing, rigging equipment, and load distribution systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the application and requirements of the Project Environmental, Safety & Health.
Working Conditions

This is a FIFO role working 3:1 roster, based in Karratha, WA. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions and may be required to work at heights from work platforms, including scaffolding and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs).
