Executive Housekeeper

The Executive Housekeeper position plays a vital role in maintaining property standards aligned to our guest's expectations. As a leader within the Hotel and Rooms Division department, the role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness across all aspects of the property including guest's rooms, food and beverage outlets and public areas.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and ensure compliance in all aspects of WHS.
- Manage and lead the Housekeeping Team while liaising with hotel departments for all cleaning requirements.
- Ensure rosters are costed to forecasted business levels and reflective in the payroll system.
- Approve shifts daily and adjust future rosters to changes in business demand.
- Allocation of daily workloads for room attendants, houseperson and public area cleaners.
- Maintain exceptional guest service by conducting daily walk throughs to ensure cleanliness is aligned to brand standards each and every day.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Rydges Hotel. The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude with experience in hands-on operations, an exceptional eye of detail and results driven, with an ability to collaborate and maintain positive relationships across all departments.
- 3 to 5 years' experience as an Executive Housekeeper or in a similar Housekeeping leadership position.
- Experience within Hotel/Accommodation operation preferably at a 4 to 5-star standard.
- Demonstrated experience in a hands-on role and a high level of service standard across the department.
- Previous experience working with Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Experience in controlling and maintaining budgets, forecasts and payroll functions, along with operating supplies, replacements, and consumables.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team while driving employee engagement, development and productivity.
- Demonstrated understanding of WHS standards and experience leading adherence to policies and procedures in creating a safe working environment.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external.
- Excellent personal presentation and a high level of professionalism.
- Enthusiasm, friendly nature and results orientated.
- Ability to handle high pressure situations and adapt to ever changing operations.
