New Horizons Enterprises Limited is seeking a Support Professional to join our team in the Central Coast area.

We are looking for a caring and compassionate individual who can provide support to our customers in a supported independent living (SIL) setting. As a Support Professional, you will create an environment where customers' choice is paramount, helping them to build and live the life they choose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and medication administration to customers
  • Use manual handling equipment to support clients with movement
  • Accompany customers to appointments and adhere to specialist plans
  • Adapt communication approaches to include non-verbal customers

We will offer full training to workers who are new to the sector to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to best support our customers.

Requirements:

  • Reliable and want to make a positive impact on the lives of customers
  • Experience helping people to live their best lives, in disability services or aged care, or similar
  • Good availability, with a valid NSW Drivers C class license and willingness to transport customers
  • Understanding of NDIS services and programs, although not essential
