Salary and Benefits
We offer a highly competitive salary package of $89,200 per annum, including superannuation. In addition to your base salary, you can also enjoy a range of benefits, including travel reimbursement, external CPD allowance up to $1,500, multiple performance-based incentive programs, and access to salary packaging and novated leasing.
About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist with Ability Action Australia, you will be working in a multidisciplinary team environment, collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement individualized plans that promote independence, confidence, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored therapy plans to address the needs of clients
- Implement therapy programs, incorporating evidence-based practices and creative interventions to engage and motivate clients
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Promote client autonomy, self-advocacy, and empowerment through education and skill-building
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
- Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to register
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
