Capital Governance Manager

At AusNet Services Ltd, we're seeking a Capital Governance Manager to lead our portfolio governance function. As a key member of our Group Operations team, you'll be responsible for defining and reinforcing enterprise portfolio governance standards, methodologies, and best practices. Your expertise will help us make informed investment decisions and drive cost savings through cross-network optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and embed best practice governance frameworks
  • Lead the governance and performance community of practice
  • Partner with LoBs and enablement functions to ensure sound investment case management and governance
  • Enable and drive a consistent value framework for investment prioritization
  • Drive engagement and compliance of systems and processes to manage governance and monitor performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in portfolio planning and prioritization, investment analysis, or facilitative governance roles
  • Proven track record of supporting investment portfolios and capital projects successfully
  • Demonstrated success of owning a value framework across an enterprise
  • Proven experience managing senior stakeholders up to and including EGM level
