About the Role

A challenging opportunity has arisen for an Ecommerce Business Analyst to join our team at ABB, a global leader in the transformation of society and industry. As a key member of our Ecommerce team, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our online platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Requirements Development: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of business needs and aspirations within the ecommerce space, creating a Business Requirements Document (BRD) that evolves as the program progresses.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to capture the most complete picture of stakeholders' needs within the ecommerce space through interviews, workshops, surveys, and brainstorming sessions.
  • Work Plan Execution: Work with the ecommerce delivery team to create and execute work plans for delivering new and incremental features and enhancements by defining clear requirements.
  • Development Challenges: Resolve ongoing development challenges and clarify business requirements when required.
  • Platform Implementation: Support platform implementation efforts by providing solutions demo sessions and ensuring release notes are well-documented and communicated.
  • Requirements Management: Manage requirements backlog in a dedicated tool.
  • Documentation and Training: Prepare and update application documentation and training materials.
  • Coordination and Communication: Actively communicate with ecommerce downstream services and IS offerings within the ABB landscape to coordinate roadmaps and delivery planning.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Marketing or Computer Science would be an advantage.
  • Experience: Full life-cycle development experience with Agile/Scrum project experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, inter-personal, and analytical skills.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in software development or project management.
  • Ecommerce Technology: Fluency in ecommerce technology and processes; previous experience with Magento/Adobe Commerce platform would be a significant advantage.
  • Change Management: Previous experience in change management projects would be a significant advantage.
  • Language: Fluent English (Spanish would be an additional advantage).
