About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter, where you'll play a vital role in responding to emergencies, promoting community safety, and contributing to education and training initiatives.
- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a manual C Class driver's license.
Your Key Responsibilities
- You will respond to fire and other emergency incidents as part of a collaborative team effort.
- Promote community safety and emergency preparedness by participating in education activities.
- Develop and maintain competencies through regular drills and training courses.
- Maintain attendance standards for emergency incidents and training sessions.
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment safely and efficiently.
- Contribute to station maintenance and upkeep.
- Ensure the maintenance and repair of operational equipment and facilities.
- Assist with incident reporting and general station administration.
