Job Overview

Critical Responsibilities
  • Maintain kitchen logs to ensure food safety program compliance.
  • Monitor stock levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Develop creative presentation ideas for food displays.
  • Manage the quantity of prepared food and served portions.
  • Set up and break down workstations as needed.
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food items.
  • Thaw frozen ingredients in the refrigerator according to schedules.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment.
  • Prepare and cook food according to quality, presentation, and preparation standards.
  • Conduct quality checks while preparing food.
