Eastland Peter Alexander Store Manager Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Retail Store Manager to lead our team at the Eastland store in Ringwood. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales, developing and coaching your team, and creating a safe working environment for our customers.

About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring availability over weekends, late night trading hours, and public holidays. If you have previous management experience in retail, preferably with fashion, and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales with your team to achieve targets and KPIs, utilizing your expertise in visual merchandising strategies and promotional changes.
  • Develop, train, and succession plan your team to increase productivity, focusing on employee engagement and retention.
  • Create a safe working environment for your team and customers by implementing effective loss prevention measures.
  • Daily management of stock to minimize losses and maximize sales, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Roster your team according to the store's trading profile, balancing workloads and meeting business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in developing and coaching teams, with a proven track record of driving results through effective leadership.
  • Previous management experience, ideally in retail, with a strong understanding of visual merchandising principles.
  • Ability to provide a genuine and unique customer experience, tailoring interactions to meet individual needs.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales, wages, KPIs, and stock loss targets, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Previous Visual Merchandising experience working from a brief, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetic appeal.
