Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Windscreen Technician to join our team at our Caringbah Service Centre. As an Apprentice Windscreen Technician, you will be responsible for undergoing on-the-job training and education to develop the skills and knowledge required to repair and replace glass on motor vehicles to Australian standards.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to complete the O'Brien Cert III in Automotive Glazing through our O'Brien Auto Technician Skills Development Program. This comprehensive program includes hands-on training, theoretical studies, and industry certifications, providing a solid foundation for a rewarding career in the automotive glass industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in on-the-job learning and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Undertake windscreen recalibrations for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
  • Learn how to complete glass chip repairs and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a supportive team and management.
Requirements:
  • A valid, current driver's license.
  • Ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and adaptability in a changing work environment.
