About the Role:

  • Caseload of NDIS clients with diverse needs and requirements
  • Opportunity to work with children and adults in various settings, including homes, schools, and communities
  • Collaboration with experienced senior clinicians and external mentors for supervision and support
  • Chance to specialize in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), swallowing disorders, and complex communication needs
  • Tailor your caseload to suit your interests and experience
  • Work within an interdisciplinary team comprising occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and positive behavior support practitioners

About You:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Speech Pathology or recognized equivalent degree, certified practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience working with clients with complex communication needs and AAC systems
  • Ability to assess and diagnose swallowing disorders, as well as work collaboratively with other professionals
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft accessible information
  • Drive to succeed, commitment to continuous learning, and enthusiasm for working with individuals with disabilities

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
