Cardiologist Position - Interventions and Consultations

We are seeking a skilled cardiologist to join our team as a casual consultant. This position will provide consultative services at an outpatient clinic, perform vital interventional cardiology services, and contribute to diagnostic coronary angiography, cardiac catheterization, and hemodynamic studies.

The Cardiology Department

The cardiology department is responsible for patients in several departments, including inpatient wards, emergency department, ICU/CCU, Cath Lab, Diagnostic Cardiology, and Cardiology outpatients. The team consists of cardiologists, cardiac nurses, cardiac technologists, cardiac sonographers, a cardiology registrar, and an intern.

This casual consultant cardiologist will work alongside the existing team, providing expertise in interventions and consultations as required.

Salary:

  • $166.89 - $216.66 per hour (exclusive of superannuation)
  • 25% Casual Loading + Oncall/Recall

Working Conditions:

  • Casual as required (must be available Thursdays & for oncall)

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent clinical skills and experience in interventional cardiology. You will need to be available to work casually as required and have strong communication and teamwork skills.
