Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive HR trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to safety, environmental protection, and transportation.
  • Monitor and manage fatigue levels to ensure safe driving practices.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Valid Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence.
  • Experience driving HR trucks, preferably in a waste management or recycling environment.
  • Ability to read maps and follow instructions.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to pass a full medical and drug and alcohol screening prior to commencement.
