About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, with experience in using large-scale payroll systems such as SAP. You will be responsible for preparing and processing payroll for employees, including weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and process payroll for employees, including weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
- Prepare payments and compliance submissions for superannuation, payroll tax, workers compensation insurance, PAYG, and other employee benefit payment and other compliance reporting requirements
- Assist with month-end reports and payroll accruals
- Assist with reconciliations for year-end payment summaries
- Monitor payroll-related regulatory changes and plan and implement measures to ensure compliance
- Engage and support all payroll-related enquiries for employees
- Develop and assist with payroll process and system improvement initiatives (SAP)
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as directed by the Payroll Manager
We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer who has a strong background in payroll management and a proven track record of delivering accurate and efficient payroll processes. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
