Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled physiotherapist to join our team in an acute surgical and medical setting. This role offers the chance to work with a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality care to patients and contributing to their recovery.

The successful candidate will have experience working in acute orthopaedic surgical, rehab or subacute settings, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy with AHPRA General registration or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working in acute orthopaedic surgical, rehab or subacute setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • A focus on continuous quality improvement, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and positive approach to work.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with AHPRA General registration or equivalent.
  • Have prior experience working in acute orthopaedic surgical, rehab or subacute setting (desirable).
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months.
  • Obtain a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases (depending on the role).
