Job Description

Camp Australia seeks Casual Educators to support before and after school programs for primary-aged children. The role involves delivering a safe, engaging, and compliant program, leading daily activities, preparing snacks, and building relationships with families and the local school community.

This opportunity provides career growth through internal promotions and study pathways, plus subsidised Diploma qualifications for eligible staff. Camp Australia prioritises child safety and wellbeing, ensuring inclusive environments where every child feels safe, respected, and empowered.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a high-quality educational program for primary-aged children.
  • Lead daily activities in a fun and engaging manner.
  • Prepare healthy snacks for the children.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local school community.

Requirements
  • A Diploma or equivalent qualification in childcare or a related field.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and an enthusiastic approach to childcare.
  • A valid Working with Children Check and First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates.
  • Availability between 7:00 am–9:00 am and 2:30 pm–6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

About You
  • You have completed, are studying, or are willing to study a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

  • Availability between 7:00 am–9:00 am and 2:30 pm–6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
