Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced meat processor to fill a full-time position at our Goulburn, NSW facility. As a skilled professional in the meat processing industry, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to meat cutting and preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Table boning of various meats
  • Cutting meat into standard cuts and removing internal fat, blood clots, bruises, and other matter
  • Washing, scraping, and trimming foreign material and blood from meat
  • Maintaining personal equipment and adhering to high standards of quality control

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven knife skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent reliability, attendance, and timekeeping at work
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Sound problem-solving capabilities and ability to report issues
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet production schedules
  • Capacity to work in a cold storage environment and with raw meat products
  • AQF Certificate III in Meat Processing (in Boning Room)
  • Fully vaccinated for Q Fever or willing to undergo vaccination process
  • Minimum 2 years of experience

Requirements:

  • Must pass a pre-employment medical functional drug and alcohol test
