About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Radiation Therapist to join our supportive team at GenesisCare. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy services to patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver radiation therapy pre-treatment and treatment responsibilities, ensuring accurate and timely administration of treatments.
  • Contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Ensure all radiation therapy processes and procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, promoting a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
  • Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA and current licence with the EPA.
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.
