**About the Role**

This position involves leading a team of operators to ensure facilities are running efficiently and safely.

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for planning and implementing daily activities, scheduling yard staff, and ensuring cost-effective recyclables processing services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and executing daily operations in conjunction with operations staff
  • Scheduling staff and creating weekly rosters
  • Coordinating efforts to provide safe and efficient recyclables processing services
  • Collaborating with the Operations Manager to manage sites and meet key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Maintaining accurate records relating to production, processing rates, and stock levels
  • Processing invoices in a timely manner
  • Creating purchase orders and coding incoming invoices
  • Overseeing store inventory and managing consumables and spare parts
  • Liaising with stakeholders for maintenance requests

**Requirements**

  • Prior experience in a similar leadership role, preferably gained in an operations environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to lead and engage team members
  • Adaptability and willingness to take ownership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and possession of a forklift license
