We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team at Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. As a Clinical Nurse Facilitator, you will provide support to Nurse Educators, Unit Managers, and Nurse Managers in the provision of education services and support to students on placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the management of a portfolio in clinical education
- Provide nursing students and staff with face-to-face, on-ground, or virtual education support
- Implement agreed plans for communication and supervision that promotes reflective, evidence-based practice improvement and supports experience sharing and problem solving
- Assist Nurse Unit Managers to maintain a learning culture by being a resource person, encouraging reflection and professional development, and assisting others to maintain portfolios and records of learning
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. You will also need to have demonstrated experience in the leadership and direction of midwifery students, student nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and less experienced Registered Nurses/Midwives.
