Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to manage our dairy and freezer departments, drive sales growth, and deliver exceptional customer service.


About the Role:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service standards.
  • Develop effective strategies for ordering and cost control to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customers' needs and preferences, and tailor our products and services offering to meet their expectations.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to drive cross-functional initiatives and achieve business objectives.
  • Coach, train, and performance manage staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their roles.
  • Ensure compliance with work health and safety standards and promote a safe working environment.


Requirements:

  • Significant experience in grocery or dairy/freezer retail management, preferably within a fast-paced supermarket environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive results.
  • Passion for the grocery retail industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
