About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide expert senior-level social work services in our Maternity unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, interventions, and evaluations for complex and general caseloads at an advanced practice level.
  • Prioritize and delegate duties for own caseload and supervised staff while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of the Social Work Service and Clinical Specialty to drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster effective multidisciplinary team work through professional communication and liaison with colleagues, patients, and service providers.

Requirements

  • A strong commitment to embracing our organization's Mission and Values.
  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership with a recognized professional association.
  • Proven experience in senior clinical roles within a Maternity area of clinical practice in a healthcare setting.
  • The ability to provide professional supervision and mentorship to junior staff, promoting growth and development.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range of $126,487 to $134,871 pro rata, plus 12% superannuation.
  • A fixed-term full-time position working 60.8 hours per fortnight up to 12 months.
