About the Role

The Miller Leith company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of maintenance operations, coordinating work schedules, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily maintenance activities and ensure safety for all team members and contractors.
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks using the CMMS system (MEX).
  • Implement lean principles and cost-saving strategies.
  • Schedule and manage maintenance work in conjunction with operations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and Australian standards.
  • Identify and schedule improvement opportunities from monthly audits.
  • Quote and order parts, and collaborate with technical teams.
  • Travel to Sydney site once per week.
Requirements
  • Mechanical or electrical trade qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an industrial environment.
  • Strong commitment to safe and quality work practices.
  • Valid Australian driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and scheduling skills.
  • Experience with CMMS software and knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and a strong team player.
