Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Works Operator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has a strong background in operating plant and equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safe plant operation, maintenance, and supporting projects. They will work closely with the Civil Works Supervisor and other team members to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Provide support with maintenance, construction projects, survey requirements, or manual labouring tasks as directed.
  • Place and space road traffic signage according to Australian Standards where required.
Requirements:
  • Practical knowledge and experience in civil works construction and maintenance operations.
  • Safety awareness and experience operating multiple plant and machinery.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Construction Induction Card (White/Blue Card).
  • Current unrestricted HR class national driver's licence.
  • Traffic Management accreditation and Doggers and Riggers qualifications highly regarded.
