Electrical Team Lead Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrician to take on leadership responsibilities in a workshop environment. As the Electrical Team Lead, you will combine your technical expertise with leadership skills to oversee the servicing and maintenance of welding equipment and generators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of electricians to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Assign tasks and ensure efficient workflow, adhering to deadlines.
  • Oversee work completed in the workshop to ensure it meets safety and quality standards.
  • Provide training and upskilling opportunities for team members.
  • Promote a strong safety culture within the workshop.
  • Act as the first point of contact for escalated issues.

Requirements:

  • Certified Electrician with relevant trade certifications.
  • Proven experience supervising and managing a workshop team.
  • Strong knowledge of generator and welding equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Commitment to fostering a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and maintain an organised workshop.
