About the Role
Able Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Funding and Claims Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing client funding, ensuring accurate and timely claims, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Funding Management: Accurately determine client funding amounts and types from Able's service agreements, NDIS myPlace, Support Co-ordinators or Plan Managers.
- Funding Package Setup and Maintenance: Setup, monitor, and maintain all individualized client funding packages on Able's systems, ensuring services are linked to the appropriate funder item numbers.
- Funding Level Monitoring: Monitor client funding levels, liaising with the rostering team, and operations team when funding levels are low.
- Funding Query Resolution: Resolve internal and external funding queries.
- Claims Processing: Claiming for all client services delivered by Able Australia, including NDIA and TAC on a weekly, fortnightly, or other basis directly from the Funder, adhering to fixed timeframes.
- Error Resolution: Resolve complex direct claiming errors and funder payment request rejections.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Funders, support co-ordinators, and plan managers to resolve claiming errors or rejections while adhering to funder-defined processes.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure ongoing client rostering and efficient claiming practices.
Requirements
- Experience: Experience in accounts receivable and monitoring funding packages, experience with NDIS preferred.
- Skillset: Ability to solve complex funding and claiming issues with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Ability to manage large workloads and prioritize demanding tasks while managing interactions with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of finance, business, and client rostering software systems, preferably Carelink and TechnologyOne. Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, including an understanding of V-lookups and various calculations and formulas.
- Qualifications: Formal qualifications in Finance, Commerce, or Business, is preferred.
