Job Role:

This role focuses on creating individual plans that align with our participants' passions and interests, promoting their overall well-being.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will develop knowledge, capacity, and strengths of all those important to the participant.

You are experienced in delivering Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), being an advocate and role model for best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals and families to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
  • Develop Behaviour Support Plans utilising positive behaviour support framework with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices.
  • Work collaboratively within a small cohesive team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years Behaviour Support experience as Proficient or Advanced.
  • Relevant qualification in allied health or social care and eligibility to register with the relevant membership body.
  • Eligible to be registered with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission as a PBS Practitioner.
