The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Specialist Anaesthetist to join our team at one of Australia's leading hospitals. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical care to patients and contribute to the development of our specialist services.

The Hospital

Our hospital is a renowned tertiary institution known for its innovative medical research and healthcare services. With over 1100 beds across three locations, we offer a wide range of secondary and tertiary health services across more than 20 facilities.

The Location

Located in the lower southeast corner of Queensland, our hospital is situated in one of Australia's most desirable lifestyle destinations. The Gold Coast offers a unique blend of urban and natural attractions, with beautiful beaches, surfing spots, and a subtropical climate.

The Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Be registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months of recent experience
  • Be on the ANZCA training program and approaching Fellowship
  • Hold the FANZCA qualification
  • Be an international medical graduate eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway
  • Have a confirmed ANZCA interview date
  • Have been assessed by ANZCA and found to be substantially comparable
