About the Role

We are seeking a strategic leader to spearhead our Clinical Applications program, driving innovation and excellence in digital healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a robust framework for clinical application improvement, ensuring seamless assessment, prioritization, implementation, and measurement of improvement initiatives across the health system.
  • Lead the development, prioritization, and implementation of a continuous improvement program utilizing Agile methodologies, focusing on delivering clinically focused, efficient, and customer-centric applications.
  • Oversee the Clinical Applications team in reviewing, auditing, and ensuring compliance with quality standards, engaging with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure policies, processes, and procedures support safe, quality, and efficient healthcare through integrated digital solutions.
  • Evaluate and optimize workflows for SmartReferrals and SurgeryConnect to guarantee they are streamlined, effective, and meet quality standards while minimizing customer effort.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within eHealth by ensuring IT Service Management processes align with best practices (e.g., ITSM, ITIL, ISO standards) to provide consistent end-to-end services.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and promote continuous improvement practices within a large, complex service delivery organization using Agile methodologies.
  • Expert knowledge of SmartReferrals and SurgeryConnect workflows.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, consultation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels within and outside eHealth Queensland.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing priorities and adapting to changing needs in a busy environment.
  • High-level written and oral communication skills, with experience in preparing complex reports, briefs, and submissions.
