About the Role

The Technology Solutions Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join their team based in Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about software development and is looking to contribute to a dynamic and innovative environment.

This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications using .NET web technologies, as well as collaborating with frontend developers, UX designers, QA, Dev Ops, Business Analysts, and Product Managers to complete user stories.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake application development and maintenance within the framework of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Design solutions ensuring associated design, planning and development documentation is undertaken.
  • Undertake testing and debugging to ensure integrity and standards conformance.
  • Implement functionality from data access, business logic and API using C#, and technologies such as OData, and Entity Framework based on high level design prototypes and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop unit tests as part of every piece of work.
  • Write object-oriented and maintainable code as part of a large enterprise cloud product.
  • Peer review code changes from the team and assisting with implementing best practice patterns.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to complete user stories.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology combined with demonstrated 5+ years expertise in API and web development in a CI/CD approach.
  • Deep understanding of full-stack .NET web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and experience using MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker (not essential).
  • Good knowledge of web application security and cloud development.
  • Demonstrated experience with web application security and understanding of Azure or alternative cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle, including reviewing the Design Story Writing and QA stages.
