**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team at PowerData Group Consulting. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering hosting platforms that meet customer needs. This includes stakeholder engagement, systems design, configuration management, deployment, monitoring, and system upgrade and sustainment.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Develop systems engineering documentation, system designs, and configuration management plans
* Deploy hosting platforms in a scalable and sustainable method
* Patch and upgrade existing hosting platforms to improve security standards
* Stakeholder engagement to identify business needs
* Work with industry partners to guide and integrate external packages into the environment
* Conduct system monitoring and UAT testing to forecast expansion and provide forewarning or rapid response to system failures

**Requirements**

* Demonstrable experience in deploying scalable hosting platforms
* Demonstrable experience in eliciting business needs from stakeholders

**Essential Skills**

* Demonstrable experience working with virtualisation technologies
* Demonstrable experience monitoring and actioning security alerts and incidents
* Ability to maintain and upgrade device software, firmware versions, racking, cabling, and labelling of current and new infrastructure

**Desirable Skills**

* Ability to deploy hosting platforms in a scalable and sustainable method
* Ability to patch and upgrade existing hosting platforms to improve security standards

**Other Requirements**

* Candidates require an AGSVA TSPV to perform the role
* ASD will not sponsor candidates to upgrade their security clearances
* Candidates must be willing to undergo ASD's Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement
