This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced clinical nurse to join our team and provide support and education to our specialist multi-disciplinary melanoma clinic.
The role involves working closely with the Clinical Nurse Consultant and Nurse Coordinator to deliver an effective and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities- Acting as a point of contact for patients and their support, primary care clinicians, and specialists
- Assisting in delivering an effective and efficient service
- Triaging incoming patient referrals
- Supporting patients during clinics and advocating for their care during multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Collecting patient history and data for patient records
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in nursing, current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, and experience practicing at an advanced level.
They will also have the ability to work independently and use their initiative, knowledge of Clinical Governance, Safety and Quality Policy Framework, and Health Services Act 2016 (WA), and a current Working Children's Check and National Police Check.
