About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate OSH Coordinator to join our team at St Peter's Catholic Primary School, Epping. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging programs, supporting local families, and creating a positive and inclusive environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-quality programs that cater to the needs of children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and school staff, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Manage compliance documents, administrative tasks, and rostering for the service, with support from the Area Manager.
- Mentor and support a team of educators, promoting their professional growth and development.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the childcare/OSHC industry, with a strong understanding of child development and learning principles.
- Completed or in the process of completing an ACECQA recognised qualification, including but not limited to, studies in Teaching, Childcare or Community Services.
- Employee Working with Children's Check valid in the relevant state.
- Child Protection/Mandatory Reporting certificate relevant to your state.
- Valid HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting (including First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training).
- Food Handling certificate relevant to your state.
