Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operational performance and maintenance of the asset.
  • Lead by example, maintaining high standards in all facets of network operations and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to execute maintenance activities according to developed strategies.
  • Drive quality safety and continuous improvement practices throughout the organisation.
  • Utilise SAP to record, assign, and complete maintenance tasks to relevant standards.
  • Provide operational and maintenance support to the Energy Operations department as required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Australian recognised Trade Certification - Electrical Workers License
  • High Voltage Switching certificate and relevant network switching experience
  • Experience with HV power distribution and transmission apparatus, large scale transmission networks, and Siemens GIS switchgear.
  • Desirable: Testing of HV assets such as transformers, circuit breakers, relays, and cables.
  • Experience in work management maintenance systems - SAP
  • EWP and working at heights trained – desirable
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to drive organisational change and improvement
