Aviation Expert for International Partnerships

The role of an Aviation Adviser is to provide technical expertise to the Australia-Pacific Partnerships for Aviation program. This involves offering advisory services on aviation policy, safety, and regulatory matters, as well as providing capacity-building training and expert advice.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver advisory support services to the P4A program
- Collaborate with Ministries, regulators, airport authorities, and airlines across the region
- Foster partner capability
- Report on bilateral policy support provided to DFAT
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry operational experience
- A minimum of 10 years significant working experience in one or more areas of expertise
- Experience working in Pacific Island countries or similar operating environment, and knowledge of their aviation sector
