Job Description

As a Mid-level to Principal Ecologist, you will assist with flora/fauna and ecological surveys and reporting for a diverse range of projects. You will compile information on terrestrial ecology, including coastal and inland environments, for monitoring, research, offset and impact assessment projects.

BAM accreditation and/or experience with GIS (Arc GIS Pro) Spatial Analysis would be viewed favourably. Your role will involve working with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality results and collaborating with the team to achieve project goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Science, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Natural Resources or related field.
  • S sound flora and fauna identification skills.
  • Sound report writing and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Comprehensive interpersonal and relationship building skills.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3+ years ecological or environmental experience. Senior Ecologists should have 5+ years experience, while Principal Ecologists should have 7+ years experience.
