Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering personal care and support services to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

This is a permanent part-time position with a stable roster and opportunities to work extra hours based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Personal Care Services: Assist clients with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Support Daily Living Activities: Help clients with cleaning, laundry, and assisted dressing.
  • Transportation: Transport clients to appointments, shopping, and social outings.
  • Client Awareness: Engage in social interaction, observe client behavior, and provide ongoing training and support.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current Australian Driver's License: You must hold a valid driver's license and own a reliable insured vehicle.
  • Fully Vaccinated: You must have completed a minimum of 2 doses of the Covid-19 vaccination.
  • Flexibility: You must be available to work a variety of shifts between Monday to Friday, including mornings and afternoons.
  • Experience and Qualification: You must have a minimum of 12 months experience in delivering personal care and/or hold a Certificate III in Individual Support.
Salary and Benefits

The hourly rate for this position is $32.56 + 11.5% superannuation, paid bi-weekly. In addition to your salary, you will receive:

  • Travel Allowance: $0.92 per kilometer, plus paid travel time.
  • Banora Point Location: This position is based in Banora Point, NSW, with surrounding suburbs covered.
