**Job Title:** Engineering Transport Coordinator

The Engineering Transport Coordinator is a crucial role within the organization. This position requires a strong leader to head a multi-disciplinary team and drive strategic planning for capital works and operational programs. The successful candidate will have experience in project and operational management, including budget preparation and management. They must also possess knowledge of external road funding and be familiar with Austroads and Main Roads WA design requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and inspire a skilled team to deliver innovative and practical design solutions for roads and drainage systems
• Drive strategic planning and oversee the successful execution of capital works and operational programs
• Champion exceptional customer service by supporting the team in resolving road and drainage enquiries with professionalism and care

Requirements:
• Strong leadership skills to head a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience in project and operational management, including experience in the preparation and management of substantial budgets
• A knowledge of external road funding such as Metropolitan Regional Road Group and Department of Transport grants
• Extensive experience in the latest road and drainage design requirements in line with Austroads and Main Roads WA
• Proven written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Well-developed analytical capabilities, to ensure accurate and concise engineering advice is provided and legislation is interpreted correctly

Additional Requirements:
• Current driver's licence
• Bachelors degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering
• Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old)
