Industrial Refrigeration Specialist

At our organization, we pride ourselves on delivering high-performance and energy-efficient systems to commercial and industrial clients across the region.

  • As an Industrial Refrigeration Specialist, you will provide technical support for standard Air Handling Units and complex reverse-cycle refrigeration systems.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with proven experience in industrial HVAC&R or commercial reverse-cycle refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineering support for standard Air Handling Units and complex reverse-cycle refrigeration systems
  • Technical support from concept through commissioning—both in-house and on-site
  • System diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis across mechanical and electrical domains
  • Developing technical reports, documentation, and cost estimates for planning and compliance
  • Contributing to research and development initiatives and staying current with emerging HVAC&R technologies
  • Integrating automation and control systems with Building Management Systems (BMS)

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in industrial HVAC&R or commercial reverse-cycle refrigeration systems
  • Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) regulations
  • Hands-on technical skills in both mechanical and electrical systems
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
